I should have also noted that the red also shows around the charging port and head phone jack. Just sharing my experience. I realize that damage shows. :)

I had the white evo. The white paint chipped or peeled off around charger port. It's red underneath. I dropped it on sidewalk once and where it hit... the paint started peeling off also. I loved my evo, but would recommend getting a black one.

So glad I read this thread. Just bought the epic 4g yesterday and had nothing but trouble with the keyboard. Just now downloaded swiftkey x and I love it. Feels more like the HTC EVO 4g keyboard I knew and loved.

I had that problem too after syncing with social hub facebook. So I had to remove that account and just sync it with facebook for android and then manually link to most of my current contacts. I'm sure there is an easier way to do it, but that is how I figured it out.

I agree HTC Hero extremely outdated. Just upgraded to Epic 4G Touch from the HTC EVO 4G, so far I'm LOVING it.

Just got the intercept for my hubby this week from Sprint (coming from a bb). I notice it does not have froyo and when trying to update it says your phone is up to date. Are they still planning on updating it?

I am looking forward to watching videos and looking at pictures of my kids :)

Mine is doing the same thing. Also, I can't hang up right away, or sometimes answer at all even when not using another app.
