I dont have an active, but I am looking to buy one. I understand that it might get warm/hot when charging, but I am more curious about every day use.

A couple of reviews states that the S4 active gets warm, almost hot to the touch, quite easily. Has anyone experienced this? And if so, does it matter if you turn wifi and/or datatraffic off? :-\

Actually for me, it was a bit comforting and makes me think that the water damage seen in other reviews may have been the case of the batterycover not sufficiently put in place. If you are not too worried about the downgrade in camera pixels, it still seems to me that the active is to prefer...

Ok, so you have active as well as the regular S4. Cool, I misunderstood. That's comforting. Hopefully the cell that was tested in the review was faulty somehow, even if that seems a bit unlikely.

The article mentioned the S4 actives rubber membranes as a possible reason for the difference between the two models, and reviewed the audio quality compared to the regular S4, so no, they are obviously not identical.
