Once you set your iris up, then off screen and then back on. Thwn you have to swipe and that prompts you for iris unlock. It works way better than people say. I used it in a pitch black room with the brightness all the way down.

I am extremely impressed with my Note 7. The iris unlock is phenomenal! It works better than they give it credit. I am in a pitch black room and have the brightness all the way down and it still works. Screen display is so vivid and the camera looks wonderful! So happy!

They made the S7 too good then! Notes used to be better. Now they have become S7s with a few additional features and S Pen. It doesn't matter to me though because I'm in love with the S Pen and won't ever get away from a Note until they don't make them!
