Hey guys, So I've been doing the dual boot thing with CM7 for awhile, and though it allows me to get so much more use out of my TouchPad, it's not ideal. Until just a few days ago, I had no idea that the ideal solution was actually already out there, just waiting to be implemented! Probably...

Unlike most people that have posted here, alpha 3 isn't working out well for me. While the SOD issue has disappeared, I'm getting a lot of app hangups and having to force close, and this is happening with apps which hardly gave any trouble before - the default Email, Browser, and even the WiFi...

@hanly2 Have you installed the system updates - 3.0.2 gives a nice speed increase. 3.0.4 is a little buggy though...

Also, it's important to realize that this version is a stepping stone. The real aim of the CM7 developers is to use the experience from this port of Gingebread to allow them to do a port of ICS when the source code is released. They would have used Honeycomb instead, but Google has not released...

I installed 3.0.4 two days ago, and my TP is a bit snappier for sure. I hadn't done any overclocking or anything previously, so for me it was worth it. My 2 main beefs with webOS still haven't been addressed though. I find typing stuff really laborious as the on screen keyboard doesn't seem to...
