I am glad that you like the screen better, I am pretty happy with it also, the screen is sharp and the whites are a little whiter. I kinda like the not so bright colors now. I compared the 3XL to an iPhone 10s Max yesterday and I like the screen on the 3 XL better.

Today I had the phone on my bike mount and I went for a long ride and I had no issue seeing the screen, this was in the bright California sun.

Always on display is on and it is set to adaptive brightness. I was indoor most of the day so the screen brightness was low. Here are some more details on app usage.

Yes it is that line, and I know it is normal for demo units but it seems kinda quick to already show it. It might also be important to know if some people are going to hide the notch for a while, it will probably give you that line even quicker. Just something to consider.

It seem to be a pretty wide spread issue now and it only seem to affect the bottom speaker. Let's hope they fix it soon. I know some of you lucky guys have no issue with the speaker, good to hear that. At least you guys don't have to go thru the hassle of RMA and hoping to get a good one.

It does sound like a blown out speaker. Maybe it is the water seal rattling on the speaker membrane or something.

That equalizer app helps a lot, after adjusting it sounds a lot more like my 2XL though. I am fine with that.
