Can I unroot and relock my Samsung Nexus S 4g phone (runs 4.1.1)

The process is very simple if you are just running a rooted stock rom. You can get apps from the play store that will do both, Totally eliminates using a pc. Just make sure you re-lock your bootloader first then unroot your phone.

    Root after 4.2.2

I am not 100% sure but superboot should root 4.2.2. If you still have to unlock your bootloader try the Galaxy Nexus Toolkit. I wasn't able to root using this method but did manage to get the bootloader unlocked and then used superboot. Just downloaded and double clicked and my Nexus was rooted.

Running ubuntu 12. something something, sorry two os on one device using the other one. Have what should be a rooted android phone. I run adb, adb devices and the device is shown, now adb shell and I geta $ sign instead of a pound (#) sign which means I have root access to the device. Does this...

    Evo shift root.

Again thanks tube. Even though I will probably be shopping for a new device in a month I will still probably flash a new rom to the Shift. Just to gain a bit more experience.

    Evo shift root.

As of last night the EVO Shift is rooted. Used HTCdev and selected the EVO 3D to unlock the bootloader and then used the HTC Quick Root tool. After 2 Monsters and TV in between it took a little more than an hour to complete the task.

    Evo shift root.

I have been trying to use the same method and even went as far as installing linux to get the job done and still no results. Does anyone know of a method that will either root, downgrade, or get s-off for gb 2.3.4? Almost time to get a new phone but I am determined to get this one rooted.

    Is rooting 2.3.4 possible?

Okay. So after a few days of rest and a clearer frame of mind I came across these two tidbits that are supposed to achieve S-Off. Juopunutbear and Revolutionary. Neither of these two applications seem to be the latest and most up to date methods to achieve S-Off it is just that my frustration...

    Is rooting 2.3.4 possible?

Okay for months I have been trying to root my Evo Shift running Gingerbread 2.3.4 and I have tried quite a few methods with no success. I even paid for an auto root method that dropped a trojan on my pc. Now there is supposed to be a method that will root any HTC phone which I also tried and...
