This *should* be a setting you can tweak in the launcher settings however that setting option isn't listed on mine. I would suggest changing launchers and changing back to see if restores itself to the default settings. Good luck with it.

I hope you are enjoying your device. In the year or so I used the Duo 1 I never used a screen protector nor a case. I did use the included bumpers however. Personally I did not experience any negatives from not rocking either. Ymmv

This may be how Google calendar handles external notifications baked in to the app? I was running a different OS back in the day and the notifications for all day events would alert at 12:00am because we'll that's when the day would start. I could not find a way to disable or delay those at all...
