I don't know if it's really resolved that way... but yesterday I did a factory reset of my device for an other reason... and this morning when I looked at my playlists, everything was there. the previous factory reset I did a few days/weeks ago did not fix the problem... so this is something...

I can tell you that it does happen on the iPhone app... I always had this problem on my wife's iPhone... but clearing the app data and re synching always works fine on the iPhone

contacted support by chat... tried all the steps... same problem at the end. he said will share with co-workers... and keep me in the loop if anything new.

arpee, I tried creating a dupe playlist and it didn't really work. I have a playlist with 947 songs in it... my device is only showing 236. With the dupe playlist, it's showing 238. what is the best way to open a ticket with Google support on that?

I've been looking for a solution to this problem... and nothing has really worked so far... Playlists are still missing a lot if songs on my device (Nexus 6 that just got the Android M preview installed). Hopefully, we will see in the near future a fix for this problem.
