Thanks, and how do I get to it (new to this...)?

I know there's an obvious answer to this...I just can't find it. When you get an email (in the GMail app) with a text attachment (e.g., doc or docx), you can "preview" or "save." The preview shows automatically, but if I "save" it, where do I go to find it?

Is there a way to add an email sender directly to the Contacts list on the phone, rather than just manually entering it? I don't see anything like "add to contact list." UPDATE: Sorry - figured it out for myself (click icon next to sender name). Couldn't see a way to delete this posting..

Re: not assigned group I have a problem with groups as well (I know this thread is old, but my problem is new). I have hundreds on contacts listed ONLY in the GROUPS tab under Not Assigned. They all have a G beside them, so they must have been downloaded from a gmail account at some point, but...

I have a similar problem. I have over 1100 names in "not assigned," most of them with a "G" next to them and they are definitely from an "other contacts" folder in my Gmail, and somehow were downloaded to my Galaxy 3. I do not have GMail syncing my contacts, so I' don't know how they got...
