It's probably due to Android 6 not being fully baked yet. My Nexus 5 (2013) does surprisingly well and only has the slightest hiccup. However I can see it taking longer and longer to render web pages. The N5x has much better specs, it should blow it away once M6 gets a couple .1 updates.

On your phone, go to settings>about phone>status and look at your MEID number. That's the number that Sprint needs to get it going. (The MEID number is one digit shorter than the IMEI number). I ran into the same problem but the customer service rep knew how to get around the IMEI problem

Depends on the price difference I guess. If it's double the price for the 4000, then I don't think it'd be worth it. I would like to get an extended life battery however, so I hope they release it soon.
