I had this error too. I rebooted and pulled the sim out for 30 seconds then popped it back in, powered it back on, and it worked.. I was stuck in 3G for about 10 min before 4G finally kicked back on.

Great point.. I would try, but my only problem with Tranquility is it wouldn't boot, I just kept going in bootloops once I got booted up.. really couldn't anything so I had to go back.

I was holding out for the Nexus One for VZW, but apparently Incredible stomps the Nexus! I'd love to trade my RAZR V3c and finally go incredible for once in my life! You can't beat the Network, and DROID is clearly the future.

Yeah I'm using the original 2 Ft cord that came with the droid. The droid feels cold when I pick it up to shut it off, but i literally have to press into the screen to move the slider and then push to shut it off. It feels weird when I do it too.
