Amazon is a major investor to Essential so if they are stating that, then Essential has major problems. This phone should never been released or it should have been released earlier. I think it will end up like the Amazon Fire Phone.

I received my phone, played with it for 6 hours and... Sold it on swappa. Way over priced for janky stuttering software, and disappointing camera.

I just got mine and set it up with T-Mobile and not one issue when it recognize the SIM card.

I sincerely doubt they included Saturday delivery for the shipping. My guess is Tuesday now.

Experience with FedEx for me has been they usually deliver a day earlier than posted, typically when shipments are from China. I bet you receive it on Tuesday instead. You can call them but I doubt they'll allow you to pick it up.

Amazon just pushed back availability to September 8 instead of tomorrow. So much for being an Essential investor and not getting supply chain priority. I'll have my Note 8 first I bet. Edit: I didn't scroll back enough and just saw an earlier post here. Oh well. I may cancel anyways and wait it...

I can't even get to them to cancel an 8 day order which still hasn't shipped. Good luck on that.

Not much difference in the pics even when acknowledging slight time difference with shift in clouds and lighting.

True but don't hype and market as such. Not good biz practiceb and will bite them. Many of us want a decent phone with super camera like Pixel, UTC11, Note, etc. I'm staying with my S8+and discounted Note 8 pre-order.

Don't forget Amazon is a major investor to Essential and would have supply chain ppreference. Amazon is well respected and doesn't want their name sullied. If anything I bet they DO ship on time!
