Man, I'm glad to tell you. It comes in the standard, nice Samsung packaging. I wonder if that's because it came from Samsung or has AT&T finally stopped forcing their ugly Note packaging on us? That really used to tick me off.

The preorders must have gone really well on this phone. I didn't think we typically see Notes delivery date pushed out like were seeing for some who just ordered recently. Like now people are getting October as their delivery dates.

I think not being a Note 7 customer is the reason. They said the Note 7 customers would get priority. At least it appears they attempted to adhere to that.

You also get a 256gb sd card instead of 128 like the pre-order deal said. I'd say this is a win for many. Got a better sd card, free overnight shipping, and got the phone a week early. Cool that being early on the pre-order paid off this year.

I Just looked. They have not changed the amount. It's still $425. You have to follow the Note 7 Loyalty link.

As long as you have a phone on the list they posted, and it's in good condition, you get $425. Otherwise why would they credit you the full $425 up front?
