today i decided to email customer support on the matter of my defender case and recieved a promp reply in a couple of hours. they are going to send me a entire new case under there 1 year warranty replacement. I also inquired if there are replacement screen savers available. customer supports...

so i recieved delivery of my otterbox defender case, large bulky and seams well protected. phone has a slight loosenes in the hardshell case i can live with or shim with a piece of felt to stop that. not real pleased with the fit of the outer silicone cover. rolls off the edge near screen on...

after install early this morn OTA, hooking to pc and mounting was no problem, now im getting a VZ screen popping up about loading VCAST manager, checking phone under USB settings no option to mount now like before. loading vacast manager to see what its going to do

as per verizons update fixes(+ If already in a locked state, the device will now remain locked when placed in the desk dock or car dock.) well this isn't the case it loads up with out staying in locked screen when docked in locked state.

5:34 am OTA update in progress. 5:38 installed and rebooting,5:40 reboot complete, finally google earth locks in instantly when loaded compared to 5 to 10 minutes before DL09 install. nice having the back lights on bottom buttons now.
