    Gmail or inbox?

I use MyMail app for handling several accounts, including Gmail. But if you ask me to chose between Google's stock Gmail app and Inbox it will definitely be the first one. Inbox is complete rubbish, you can't do anything with this app (or if you can, it is superbly convoluted).

    Finally got my OnePlus 3!

    How's that pre-applied screen protector?

*Updated* How to re-enable Tethering on KitKat. (New method on T-Mobile without root.)

Re: Defunct: How to re-enable Tethering on KitKat. (Working again for 4.4.2 [T-Mobile]) I was getting ready to wipe my N4 - unlock bootloader, flash 4.4, reinstall everything, and apply the fix from this thread (that's editing settings.db). With that in mind I started meditating, stretching...

    I suppose KitKat wasn't enough

Hi. I had very limited experience with Ubuntu on a desktop. So I also went for it, and put an Ubuntu rom on my N4 for the sake of experiment. It was like hitting a wall full speed because the UI is so completely different than Android or iOS. I played with it for a few hours, but could not see...

    Damn you Apple!

I have to say I really cannot understand why people say the LG G Pad's display is dim? I've had this tablet for almost a month, and I usually keep the screen at about 40% (or less) brightness when inside in artificial light, and at about 60 to 70% when outside in daylight. It IS BRIGHT! And if...

*Updated* How to re-enable Tethering on KitKat. (New method on T-Mobile without root.)

Re: TIPS: How to re-enable Tethering on KitKat. I beg to disagree. Could you please tell me how is it fair play to give carriers this info via OS, thus allowing them to impose additional charges (ie. hot spot fees)? In what way is it the carrier's business how (ie. on which device) I use the...

*Updated* How to re-enable Tethering on KitKat. (New method on T-Mobile without root.)

Re: TIPS: How to re-enable Tethering on KitKat. Simple: more money for carriers since they can now charge additional fees for hotspots, therefore maybe more interest to promote Android devices. I don't use tethering that much, but it bothers me to give up this essential freedom which had...

Can you downgrade back to 4.3 from Kitkat? How? Would that restore ability to tether which i currently enjoy? Posted via Android Central App

Do you have to install Kitkat?

I don't quite understand the logic behind paying for tethering (well besides obviously making more money for operator). If I am already paying for 5gb monthly transfer for my device, how does it matter in what way I use the quota? It is the same as limiting who can talk on my phone, eg. I have...

Do you have to install Kitkat?

I find it hard to believe. So does that mean you will not be able to set up your phone as an Access Point? So here is question to people who upgraded to KitKat: can you set up AP or not? Please confirm if this is just a rumor.

Google Experience Launcher for the Nexus 4

When you press home button for the first time after installing your new launcher, you should get a prompt asking which launcher to use. There should be two options, they read something like "Always" and "Just this time". If you select a launcher, and press "Always" - from now on this launcher...

Do you have to install Kitkat?

What T-mobile tether are you talking about? Does Kitkat not allow you to tether to other devices?

    Evecase Slimbook

Bought! Not the greatest case, but not bad either. Stand is not what I expected (too vertical imo). But for $7 price it is hard to criticize a lot.

    Knock knock! Who's there?

Just to finish this thread which I started a few days ago. So I bought the LG Pad 8.3, and after day 1 I could not be happier. It is snappy as hell! It has beautiful bright screen, loud speakers (for a small device), and overall works as smooth as my N4, if not better. And the answer to my two...

    Knock knock! Who's there?

Well I had to visit 3 stores, and got lucky on the third try. Not only did they have one on display, they also had black ones in stock, I was told several of them. So I guess I'm going back there tonight to pick up one. And you're right - Samsung has at least two dedicated displays at every...
