Thanks everyone, I am reinstalling FB one more freaking time. I have two Note 4's and a Note 8 in pristine condition and this has never happened, It's a bunch of crap that this happens to an expensive phone like the Verizon s20+ 5G.

Katana is the folder in which facebook is installed.

Brand new and facebook katana keeps asking me to close it down because it is overloading system resources. I am not going to wipe my phone and start over. Already uninstalled facebook and reinstalled. Didnpt help. so it's a goner unless someone else has a solution.

I have tried everything I could think of, even changing to Open DNS on my router. I don't think this is just a Note 8 problem. I also have a Note 4, and 3 Note Tablets of various years. ALL of them are experiencing this problem. I don't want to pay data line charges for 2 of my Note tablets...

I can get edge lighting to work on samsung messages and yahoo email. It worked one time on a phone call and in the settings the phone icon has disappeared . I can not get it to work on anything else. Any suggestions?

Got it on both my Note 4"s. I think is supposed to improve battery life, and they added a security patch I believe.
