Same here. I just got the phone on 9/8 and haven't been able to update. Did they stop pushing the update out to phones? I have looked but, there doesn't seem to be a way to manually update. Any info would be much appreciated.

From a hardware standpoint, Motorola has always stuck out in my head as a quality phone. Even as far back as my old bag phone on Cellular 2000.

Even my Nikon D90 will end up with red eye pics. It happens to the best of us.

Is there a way to set up the phone to answer calls by pressing the hardware buttons rather than swiping the screen?

Yea, I'm nearing the end of my 30 days to take it back. I love the X but, there are definitely a few annoyances that go along with it. I was hoping to see what Froyo had to offer while still in my 30 days. From reading it looks like it opens up a whole other can of bugs with phones like the Evo.

When I got a call today, I swiped and swiped and the touchscreen wouldn't let me answer. As soon as the call ended it worked fine and I was able to call the person back. Was this just a fluke or has this happened to anyone else?

Thanks for the update. I have been going back and forth about ATK.

My lesson came from having a lot of widgets all over my homescreens updating every couple of minutes. Now I just use apps and I have doubled my battery life.

Once I learned about how to manage the battery life, I love this phone.
