I've been told that if you pop a Verizon sim card into the 2013 Nexus 5, you can put the phone in LTE mode, and use your google voice number with hangouts and seamlessly make calls and texts.
Has anyone tested this? How is it?
I am switching from Verizon to T-Mobile and may purchase the 2013 Nexus 5. I would wait for the 2015 version but 5.2'' is personally too big for me and I prefer 4.95".
1) How is the coverage? I understand it does not support Band 12 (which I admittedly don't know what it is or what it does)...

^ To each their own. Like I said, coverage in my area is great, and T-Mobile has been picking things up.

Looks like I am going to make the switch from Verizon to T-Mobile. This means I need to say goodbye to my Unlimited Data.
Is there anything I can do to salvage it? Just feels weird.
