Definitely the moto x. I have looked at comparing them between each other. Right now for only 100$ I think it was worth the money ( on contract) beat out the others.

Something that I have always learned with batteries is never keep it plugged Over 100% because it can drain the life of how long the battery will last. Other possible is roaming. At my work I put my phone in airplane mode. Try doing the same and see if you have the same results.

I currently have a Samsung s4. I have had it for about a year and half now. My contract ends in a few months so I am kinda looking around seeing what's new as far as devices and features.

I have felt it was a hastle when I had my phone installed with an Antivirus especially because every time I had a new download it would do the scan - checking. I also some some heat problems - (not sure if exactly related to the installation of the AV) which maybe the cause.

I find it more inconvenient to try and type while the phone back is on the table. I prefer to have it in my hands where I can use SWYPE. For just checking messages, yea sure, but other than that no.

I suggest the Moto X. My friend recently just got it, and it really is a nice phone. From what he tells me, it has a very fast processor. I have played with it myself, and was able to do what I needed without really any response time - that being said (and a pretty new phone) I would suggest that.
