    [APP] Executive Assistant

Using an accessibility service? That seems to be how everyone else does it. It works, but not perfectly. Right, but I'd actually like different content. I want the summary to show only today's events, but the full tab to show the next week. That would be most helpful to me. Thanks Steve...

    [APP] Executive Assistant

In case anyone else is finding this thread... Executive Assistant is a great app, and so far it's one of the few that I am going to pay for and keep using, I think. But here are my issues with it, at the moment. Using Verizon S4, Android 4.2.2. 1. Lock screen "swipe" action is out of reach of...

Thanks... so LockerPro really isn't a lock screen? It's just an app that runs when the lock screen is displayed? I never noticed that the home button actually unlocked the phone and went to my home screen. I'm confused about how exactly LockerPro is working. This is a huge annoyance to me. Is...

When using a lock screen app like LockerPro, why does my lock screen sometimes show the old one for a second, then switch to LockerPro? That's kind of annoying, isn't it? Any way to fix that?

Not things talked about in this thread, necessarily. But I think it looks and feels better with the metal case. It also has a wider angle lens on the camera, which I especially like. I don't care about megapixels nearly as much as how many people I can fit into a picture.

Any news yet about when Verizon will get the HTC One?

Exactly! I swipe down to see what is new, and almost my whole screen is the ongoing notifications. I have to scroll to see the stuff that is important. IMO, the ongoing notifications should be UNDER the current notifications, not on top of them. That only makes sense. iOS actually does both...

Followup to Notifications annoyances, which are still my biggest gripe... 1) When I swipe down, the "Ongoing" notifications are on the top, which is annoying since they aren't important and usually say the same things. Shouldn't they be below the app notifications? Is there a way to do that...

Heh, isn't defensiveness the "Internet Way"? :) Actually, this thread has been pretty civil and helpful, IMO. It may surprise some of you, but I am actually leaning towards keeping my S4. It's still a bit big for me, but I'm learning to accept it. I've found a few apps that come close to making...

I don't see any reason why the default out-of-the-box Android experience couldn't be as good or better than the iPhone. The vast majority of people won't root, or use custom ROMs, or maybe even add widgets. The power and flexibility of Android would be even BETTER if it's default implementation...

Have you tried NiLS? Or Executive Assistant+? Both of these apps do the same kind of thing, but each has their own quirks. I'll try Popup Notifier too and see if it works well. I really think the iOS way of doing notifications is great, so I just want something similar. I don't want to...
