Thankya sir! It should be mentioned (as it isn't in the first post on XDA) that it may be necessary to run z4 a couple of times to get it rooted. I'd also suggest getting clockwork and making your first backup after rooting and BEFORE messing with anything else ;)

I had the opposite happen: WPA2 connects fine, but WEP (darn TiVo) gave me problems. @OP: Does the hotspot you're connecting to require you to log in through a browser before you can use it?

That's the way it is. Dolphin browser will let you set the default download folder, but not everytime you download something.

I don't think there are any GB ROMs for the D2 yet :( Liberty is pretty nice though ;)

If you have to ask, it's probably not a good idea LOL! Anything can be fixed, IMHO, but in this case you need to have mad soldering skills. One false move and you can fry the board o_O Google around for some tear down pics/videos so you can see what you're getting into before you buy.

I found some info that Motorola has been working on a printing solution for a little while now called MotoPrint. Might be something planned for the Atrix. I just started using printershare with my network printer and its working quite well so far.

From what I understand the picture quality problems with the D2 camera has nothing to do with software, the lens/sensor is crap :eek:

From the homescreen: menu > settings > sound > uncheck screen lock sounds. Back to the previous menu > applications > development > uncheck stay awake.

Thanks! Nothing like first hand info :D Looks like it won't play on the mobile site, and doesn't trigger the YouTube app to play. If you scroll to the bottom of the page and click on desktop, it will switch off of the mobile site. You may need to reenter the URL to get back to the right page...

Could you post a URL for the video or page that you're having difficulties with? Also, are you using a third party browser?
