    I used the app Android Assistant and then Processes to get to the email app. Also, I deleted the field called Data.

    The same here, since yesterday. If anybody knows the solution, it would be much appreciated. PS Solved for me. I entered the app manager, force-stop email and deleted all cached data. After that, I reinstalled my email settings. It works now!
