So, my nexus five isn't getting pinged to update to lollipop. When I search for updates it says my device is currently up to date. I am still running 4.4. Thanks.

See it's interesting, this happening on my parents phone. On my droid, I don't restrict background data, and constantly get notified about emails, but it barely uses any data. - - - Updated - - - And djjeffa, no didnt do the update.

So my s5 started using around a gig of background data a week just from the email app (the standard email app that comes with the phone). I didn't notice this until I almost reached my data limit after two weeks. Anybody know how to fix this? Thanks

yes me too. i may have to switch to groupme like suggested above for groups. just wished there was a way to have them in either hangouts or the stock messaging program.

Thank you! But an iphone can't turn off iMessage just for one contact. They would have to leave it off for good on their phones, I think. Can't believe that apple hasn't figured out an easy way to fix this
