Got it!!! I turned off magnification gestures in accessibility/vision. Got the quick responsiveness back!! Woohoo!!!

Games like Flappy bird are not playable anymore because of the delayed response to touches. I have tried wiping cache and increasing the touch sensitivity in the Display settings, but no change. Any fixes, ideas? Thanks!

Go to settings and scroll down and press voice control. Several options there.

FIXED! In settings/accessibility/hearing I had mono audio checked. The description of this selection is to switch to mono audio when using a mono headset. I assumed it was meant for wired mono headsets. There is no mention of it's effects on bluetooth headsets whether monoraul or stereo.

OK, my headset works fine with both my old Bionic and my wife's Note 3. Must be either a defective phone or an improper setting. I think I checked all the possible settings...any other suggestions anyone?

Tried that yesterday also. Same. I'll diagnose the hard way by pairing other devices with both of them and check how they play. I'll post the results tonight or tomorrow. Thanks B. Diddy!

Thanks, John. The web link was quite interesting. PowerAmp it is, then, but I'm covered as far as headphones go. I usually use my trusty Shures in ear or NuForce or Grado SR80s on ear when I don't want so much isolation. That's why low bit rates are so irritating and high resolution...
