You are correct, B. Diddy. I had forgotten they are wav rather than mp3. Odd, though. These were the exact files I used on my Note 8 without issue. Clearly this could be a change between the phones. I will have to see about converting them and trying again. Thanks!

Update - Issue Resolved: B. Diddy nailed it right off. The issue is/was that the Note 9 does *not* recognize wav files for use as Notification sounds. mp3 files work as expected. I had missed the file extensions (damned icons lulled me into a sense of complacency). Converted format from wav to...
