There's another online forum which explain this issue as Samsung locked down the OS so that you can Not transfer the apps to the SD card. You could buy the 64Gb MicroSD card to expand your storage, though. It worked for me!

I picked up a genuine 64Gb Sandisk MicroSD card with SD adapter for ~$60. I used EaseUs Partition Master Home Edition to format it to FAT32, which worked. My GT7+ now recognizes ~58Gb of storage space. :D
