I still don't have android 10 on my Note 9 (Verizon). I was looking for ways to force it to download, but can't find anything that works. I ran the Smart Switch app on my computer and it says my phone is up to date, yet it isn't.

Ahhhh. I've run into another problem. It seems that Outlook contacts can't be used in the People Edge. That's a major issue. I don't see where that can be sync'd. Bummer. I love the phone but the IMAP issue is huge.

Problem number one can be solved by using a different email app. I tested Outlook and Blue Mail. There was a lot I liked about Blue Mail with my standard IMAP accounts, but it didn't like my Exchange server and kept putting it to IMAP as well. Because of that, contacts and calendar didn't sync...

Well, I solved #2 by enabling Google Now via the Google app on the phone. It doesn't work from the AOD screen but that's fine. I'm liking this phone. Such a huge display in a small form factor.

I changed my email setup from IMAP to POP3 to solve that issue. I would much rather use IMAP but every time I delete and email on the phone, it comes back. Try POP3. It solved it for me.

did you try something like Simple Sound Profile Widget? I set mine up to a new profile I made called "phone only" when I'm ready to sleep. The only sound is when the phone rings. I have all other sound settings to silent. maybe its different with wireless charging, but it works great for me.

you can do a couple things to speed it up without wiping the phone. 1) disable apps that are not wanted 2) wipe the cache partition - helps a lot 3) make sure you close running apps every once in a while, drag them to the left in the open apps window

I can also confirm that Now Playing does not cure the skipping problems. Its very frustrating. I've had my phone since it came out. I love the battery life and the build. I don't like that it now lags often and the music skips. I do a cache clear once a week to see if it will cure the problems...

I just installed Now Playing. I will give it a day and see if it cures the skipping problems on my Maxx HD. I hope so. I tried Player pro but that skipped badly too.

I too am looking for a player for my Maxx HD. Google lay skips and has dropouts and it generally worthless now. The old player used to be better. Its pretty frustrating when you can't even listen to a song all the way through without some dropout or glitch. I tried Player pro. It glitches too...
