I have the same problem. It's a known issue now so I'm hoping the next security update will fix it. I know about 20 people with sg8 or sg8+ and I'm the only one with the problem so I don't think it's too widespread. I'm on Verizon if it matters.

did a hard reset and tried factory reset and it did nothing. i cant get my computer to recognize my phone to unroot it. still stuck in samsung reboot loop. any one have any ideas?

im rooted but have no custom roms. i bought rom toolbox and tried to change my wifi icon up top. i created a backup. now the word samsung appears on boot up. then disappears and pops up again. i want to unroot because as soon as the m7 comes out ill buy that. thanks

I just pulled the battery. Still in the boot up loop.

I got the gb update. After the download it rebooted. And rebooted. And rebooted. So far 20 reboots and still counting. At least it's not making the boot sounds. Is it safe to pull the battery? btw I'm not rooted.

i just got my like new replacement. it is in great shape. i am pleasantly surprised.
