    In case you guys missed it HTC finally released the v2.18.617.30 kernel source code to the world per the GPL (and only just 7 months late). Open source ROM development will now be based on the newest kernel, long live the A9 lol. Bring on new LineageOS ROMs!!

    I got an update to 2.18.617.30 on my A9 yesterday. The most obvious change is the inclusion of the June 2017 security updates, nothing else user facing that I've seen yet. The OTA was almost 250MB so there must have been more than just the security updates. Anyone?

    Why did my htc one a9 stop ringing after system update?

    Did you check to make sure that there is a ringtone assigned to this event? I have had that happen on a CM update to another phone so this is a remote possibility.

    It just showed up. It was a server side change from Google provided you have the current versions of the Google App and Google Play Services.

    The latest Google+ update fixed the problems I was having. 9.7.0.149074449 specifically.

    Just an FYI I got the Google Assistant on my unlocked HTC One A9 last night. On the AT&T network in the USA with the latest apps, no betas. So far it's much better than when I tricked my OPO to loading the Assistant.

    I noticed almost nothing new whatsoever. No new bugs, no user facing improvements. Feb. 2017 security update is the only change I see.

    Since before my phone was updated to Android 7.0 Google+ has been crashing incessantly. Since my phone has been updated I have factory reset it twice and set up the phone as a new device (did not import settings and data). Is anyone else having issues with Google+ crashing?

    That's the latest Marshmallow software for the US unlocked A9. No idea why you haven't received the OTA offer yet.
