I think your correct, I have been opening all SMS messages and emails and have not noticed any repeating messages. Odd behaviour as I always used "Clear All" on my Samsung devices without messages being repeated, anyway it seems to be doing the trick to solve the annoying issue. :-)

Thanks for the suggestion PJRed2008, I have had a look but have not found that would cause the behavior.

Anyone having issues with Notifications keep reappearing? After I get notifications for email or SMS I use the 'clear all' option and they go away, but a number of them repeatedly come back. (Same happens if I slide off notifications to the side to clear them individually)
