For anyone with the same issue who can't or doesn't want to get a physical repair, try going to (if your phone will let you lol I had to keep trying for half an hour) Setting > Sounds And Vibrations > scroll down and turn off Vibration feedback first, then kill all the keytap vibration options.

Update (made an account lol) - so in case anyone stumbles across this, I did actually stop it from happening. When the system updated it turned on vibration contact for typing and actions, which I had always had turned off. I guess the back button on my phone is extra sensitive, I turned off...
