i say go for performance. there are roms out there that work well. i use PA rom and i havent gone back to base moto. everything is smooth and works well

try using fastboot. up+power for 10 seconds. you will see an andy the android. next go to zte website and download their update and follow all instructions. it will install 4.0.4 ics. hope that helps

all i need is the kernel thats all. is there a way to get that without installing the whole rom?

realized when using setcpu there arent no i/o settings so the battery will always be taking a hit. there are governers within the kernel but no i/o settings. no noop, sio, cfq, deadline etc. until they are inplemented into the kernel our phone will always be taking a hit on the battery.

its smooth as all outdoors. only problem is battery life. it doesnt last a day without dying. i have to keep it on charge to keep it operational

curious on this. ive seen locked bootloaders with cwm on them. is it possible to build a recovery and place it on the sd card and use a terminal to access cwm
