Is there any damage to the port? If certain connectors are damaged or dirty, the port may allow the phone to charge, but it won't connect to a PC to transfer data.

Any thoughts. I'd rather not reset the phone if I can avoid it.

Sometimes it's a setting in the language and inputs/keyboards settings. Occasionally, I've seen it simply disappear when a keyboard app updates. If that's what's happened and you can't get it back, and if you're not picky about the keyboard you can just download another keyboard that does have...

Hey folks, my note 4 keyboard suddenly switched from taking up the full width of the screen to going into 1-handed mode where it is smaller and off center. I've dug around in the settings to try and change it back, but I cannot find that setting. Any help I could get would be appreciated.

If you are trying to scroll usually use two fingers rather than just one. If you are trying to select an item, tap it once to get the talkback to read the item to you then doubletap it to select it. Talkback is in the accessibility settings.

I'm too invested in the Android ecosystem to jump to apple right now. If I were to invest in an iPad pro and be able to use some of the added features rumoured there, then maybe, until then, I'll stick with Android and the note line if I'm looking for a stylus on my phone.
