Apologies, the tag must not have worked. I didn’t get a notification for this. It sounds like everything is good now. If it’s not and more help is required, please feel free to quote me. I do have notifications on for mentions and quotes.

Just for further clarification in my screenshot from the linked page you can see how the .bin file names match. So whatever your .bin name is, that's what you will put after the cust-unlock for the command. Just have the .bin in the folder you fastboot from.

Your unlock token should be placed in the folder you fastboot from. The <unlock_token.bin> will be the name of your unlock token .bin file. You won't need to do anything else with the file. That step will install it from the fastboot folder.

How to disable sync for an app in Android 9 (pie)

I have the same screen on my Nokia. I have a TA-1045 running build 00WW_3_260_SP02. When you go to Settings>Accounts>Your google account then you select account sync and you will get the app list with on/off switches.

Any news on Oreo for Retus?

It seems everyone but Retus has gotten the Oreo update, is there any news on when this when be available, or if there's a downloadable OTA for npsn-192-93-18? I've been checking for months and it seems all the OTA's and updates are for everything except Retus. I understand the US gets updates...

    [REVIEW] Lenovo Smart Display

The Smart Display A speaker, a screen, and a camera; it sounds simple enough. The Lenovo Smart Display is one such simple design that is more of a wedge than anything else. The speaker end of the Smart Display is heftily weighted to prevent accidental spills whether you have it placed in...

[REVIEW] CoverOn Case for ZTE Blade X Max

It Is What It Is What to do when you buy a phone that isn't massively popular and you want a case for it...well you go to Amazon. It's amazing what you can find shopping online. While the ZTE Blade X Max wasn't exactly the phone I had planned on getting, I still wanted an extra Android...

[REVIEW] ZTE Blade X Max (Cricket Wireless)

Overview So I needed another phone line for work because T-Mobile doesn't get service everywhere I need. I knew AT&T did but I couldn't just switch as I'm on a family plan, nor did I want to. This lead me to get a line with Cricket. I have the AT&T network for $30 a month and I can cancel at any...

What's your current and 'ideal' monitor setup?

My current setup is a MacBook Pro and Lenovo Yoga. It’s not my ideal setup though. Ideally I would like at least a dual monitor setup as I think it’s better than split screen. I also don’t want to give up portability so it would probably need to be more or less a docking station I would use. At...

Interesting read - thoughts? "Stock Android"

I think the closest to “stock” Android are my ZTE Blade X Max and Moto G5 Plus. Really barebones, with stock browser, Launcher3, Android Messages, Chrome, Play Store, GBoard, and a couple things from each company thrown in as well. They have a great lack of settings and customization options...

Current iOS experience compared to Android?

I had Cydia Impactor running on iOS 10. It just requires a profile to be installed on your iPhone and a computer.

Current iOS experience compared to Android?

There's also Cydia Impactor which is a pseudo jailbreak and let's you side load apps.

Current iOS experience compared to Android?

I use an iPhone X as my main phone and I have a Moto G5 Plus that I'm about to put a SIM in for work. I've rarely gone without both an iPhone and an Android phone. When it comes to day to day basic average usage, it's all preference. Android came a long way since the iPhone 4S. The biggest thing...
