Just an update. I even tried going into developer settings and turning off auto updates from there. No luck though, Im still getting the notification to update. Im just shocked that they arent giving people an option to opt out to at least a certain number of times. They certainly aren't making...

Thanks Mooncatt, I hope I do get lucky. My main reason for not wanting these updates in the first place is because of the space they hog up on your phone. This one will be 500 MB which by itself itsnt bad but I dont know if it'll make any cosmetic changes which will make the user interface more...

Alright, so the notice appeared again. I didn't dismiss it this time and went through all apps and force stopping and/or disabling everything I saw might be relevant to my issue. I ended up resetting a bunch of settings to default but no luck on making the system update notification icon...

I searched around and these are the only options available relating to any updates. When I receive the notification tomorrow I'll put them all to the test and post what happens on here. Thanks again for all the help so far guys!

I've been using MetroPCS for years. My first phone was the Samsung Freeform 1. When that fell in water I got the Samsung Freeform 3. After a few years I decided to upgrade to a smartphone (the Optimus L70) since MetroPCS was going to be cutting off the signal network for those types of phones...

Clicking any of those doesn't lead me anywhere regarding system updates. If needed I can post screenshots of what each leads to.

Thanks guys! What would be the right subforum to post a question regarding system updates for my LG Aristo 3? The LG section doesn't have this phone listed and others seem too broad to place there. Can anyone point me in the right direction?
