Ok i have the latest update and as I said above it gave me the freezing problem. I uninstalled/disabled virtually all samsung bloatware and since then the phone runs absolutely fine!!!! It's been three days now and not one freeze or issue. Hope this helps someone

It won't let me uninstall the samsung apps? Do you have to root it to do that? Any help gratefully received. Had to remove battery twice today and force close with the power button once. No apparant reason! Thanks ITS OK I've done it will let you know if it makes mine stable again! :)
