I usually reboot my PH-1 (and all Android phones I've had) every morning so I can start fresh. Noticing this happening during every reboot instance lately: Hold down power > choose Reboot > phone boots into Recovery Mode. Selecting the "Reboot" option from there puts it in a recovery mode loop...

Got camera update 2 days ago along with phone app and resources. I think it's decent now, especially shots in good light. I'm very picky with my pics. Coming from a Huawei Mate 9, the Leica lens spoiled me. Here's a test shot https://www.instagram.com/p/Bajlzg7HPNI/

Have had the phone for about a week, moving from the V10 which spoiled me with its camera (I am a hobbyist photographer). I've read some overall positive reviews about the G5's cameras but notice 2 things off the bat: 1. The wide angle camera tends to result in lower quality/mottled/fuzzy shots...

Added preset VSCO filter, slight adjustment in sharpen/contrast, auto mode.

Ok I tried installing again and it does work at the highest 16mp resolution. However when I set it to anything lower, the black screen comes back which makes me think that it only supports 16mp at 16:9. I prefer my shots at 4:3 and can't choose that option.

Yes uninstalled/reinstalled. Still getting black screen. Are you using the free or paid version?

Going to bump this up as I'd like to know too. I find the default camera app is a bit lacking in controls and want something similar to Camera FV 5. That app had some great features and UI but unfortunately I only get a black screen every time it's launched so maybe it doesn't support the V10...

Maybe I'm not looking in the right place but is there a optical stabilization option when the camera is in manual mode? It's clear that it's offered in auto. Just curious if manual mode is also covered. Thanks!
