I had the same problem on my Nexus 5 running 4.4.2. Artist, track and time information would appear when streaming to my late-model car stereo with Google Play Music, but not with Doubletwist. Settings|Reset doubleTwist will rebuild the Doubletwist metadata. After doing this on my phone...
