Side by side signal comparison: Droid 1 -92 dBm 0asu - VGN 4.0.4 -120dBm 99asu. This is a new phone. I have 1 more week to decide if I want to keep it or not. I really want this phone but golly this signal issue has got me spooked.

I considered that possibility so I used Wug's toolkit and re-ran the root batch routine but it didn't seem to change anything. I will look for and try your suggestion. Thanks very much.
