Week 1 update - phone still working i.e. screen lights up. Screen occasionally flickers, but for the most part it is working. Any ideas on the flickering? Really trying to avoid sending the phone into the service center and having them tell me it works and they can't replicate the problem.

Left it in Safe Mode overnight. Got up this morning and had 5% battery left. I know this because now the screen lights up. Will wonders never cease. Just uninstalled all the 3rd party apps and restarted in normal mode. Will let it continue to charge and see if the screen continues to act...

I tried restarting in Safe Mode. Same result. Dark screen.

Haven't tried that. First thing I'll do when I get home tonight! Right now I've reactivated my Samsung S3. Can't believe I allowed my self to get talked into the HTC instead of the Samsung S6. Lesson learned. Thanks.

This is my second M9 with the exact same problem. Screen won't light up, although periodically when I leave it on and stationary for an extended period, pick it up and wake up the phone with the power button the screen will light up briefly then go out again. The phone works otherwise, just...
