I upgraded mine using Kies. I had to unroot prior to taking 4.3, I regained root access again earlier today. I'd be lost without androidcentral, XDA and qbking77. :)

You've activated Google Voice somehow. I have it enabled on my Epic 4g as well. By allowing the brief pause to select 1 or 2 it's kinda acting like call screening. You would have to sign into your Google account and go to Google voice settings to disable it. You can do this from your phone. I...

I have tried download mode with the battery in and out, usb cable without battery. You name it and I've tried it. There's gotta be some way to get it powered on. Btw, I tried another battery also. Can you think of anything else?
