I've heard that Google now gets better the more you use it while WP seems to be pretty good from the start. I'll keep trying and see. Oh and I have been using WP10 on my 1520 for a couple months so that is my comparison.

We're talking about voice txt over BT.. Like in the car.. If you pair your phone to your BT enabled stereo it should cut in and read your txt messages when they come in and allow you to voice txt a reply... BTW... I did the 'Click mic and voice txt reply back" on my 6 hour trip back from...

Exactly my findings... when driving, i had to reply to messages using my voice, and it get a TON wrong compared to windows phone. WP usually got it right, this one usually gets words wrong.

I know it says it.. and yes.. when it senses the BT in the car it goes into "Driving mode" but that's it.. it silences the phone but doesn't read the texts over BT or allow you to respond. It just doesn't work.

Yeah.. i really like the phone... Almost as much as the 1520... almost... it's nearly there. Just not quite but at least there are work arounds for a lot of things so it's not as bad as I originally thought.

Tried it... Nope.. doesn't do it. Actually all it did was silence my phone in the car and make it harder to use.. LOL

Mine does the calls too... just not text... My Nokia did both perfectly.

I have an Android head unit... It's running Kit Kat. My Windows 1520 phone would read text messages, accept calls everything over bluetooth with nothing else to set up on the same stereo. My new 6P won't read or allow me to reply to text messages. It's a phone/android issue.

I just made a post about this too... Coming from WP10 which read messages and made it easy to reply with voice no matter what was playing on the car stereo was a great feature... I hope this is fixed or added to the Nexus.

Oh.. another thing... Why is it so difficult to block a caller? I have to add them to the dadgum address book and then I keep forgetting how to go in and edit and then block. Crazy... Just long press the number in WP and choose block... done.

So, I switched from my nearly 2 year old Nokia 1520 running the latest Windows 10 to the 6P and off the bat... The battery isn't close... The 6P is better than my old Note 2 was but not near the 1520.... But.. I can live with having to plug it in earlier at night every night.. I was just spoiled...
