The remedy worked for me. It was the Chromecast app. I long pressed menu and closed it, media volume restored.... Muito obrigado!

I had this problem and solved it. I had unknowingly set an auto battery saver that disabled auto-sync during my peak times of use. I removed that from the list and everything is fixed. No doubt, if you are having this problem, it involves the sync settings. To check your sync, look at...
