Re: not so waterproof...or is it? I know it is not waterproof or meant to be, title was a bit tongue in cheek! Have changed it now anyway. How would one go about getting the buttons changed then? I imagine a fairly expensive repair job that would require the phone to be sent away?

Edit: title was misleading so just to say I know it is not supposed to be waterproof or resistant! I have changed the title now. Yesterday, my G2 slid out of it's case and into a bucket of soapy water. Ironically, I was moving it out the way to prevent it getting splashed! I got the phone out...

Still don't see why any one would need loud speakers on a phone, that is what earphones are for. I hate it when people play their music/videos through the speakers on their phone in public.... it's just so obnoxious. The m8 does seem like a good phone other than the gimmicky camera, especially...

My Three G2 has just updated to KitKat, not entirely sure what is different so far. Feels snappy, but a reboot will often make it feel better anyway.

16gb has been plenty for me. I only ever keep a few apps loaded at a time, most apps are a waste of memory anyway. I have got a meenova card reader, but haven't even needed it.

Mine does the same thing with Bluetooth, although I'm still on JellyBean. Only way to solve it is a reboot. The phone restarts so quickly that I can't say it bothers me too much though.

After going to Kit Kat, do any usb sticks work OTG without root or a separate app? I'm sure I heard that OTG was deliberately hampered.

Just had my dash genie delivered from amazon. Picked it up for about ?5, not tested it in the car yet, but the 'sticky grip' that holds the phone (no clamps or grips!) Works a treat. Will have a play with this tonight to see if i can find a good mounting spot and whether the sticky suction pad...

Mine did, I'm on 3 network in uk. I believe almost all phones comes with earphones here. Every phone I have had does. It might have something to do with the fact that it is illegal to drive whilst holding a handset,so maybe they bundle the headset in for this? The quadbeats are great earphones...

I think it helps to tap at the right pace, say knock on knock off, then time the taps to match. I have never had a problem with feature.

Just my thoughts on the G2 after a month or so of using it, I love it. The specs, the screen, even the UI is no issue as some seem to make out. The only shortcoming is the lack of memory. 16gb is ok, but would have preferred more. Shame no 32gb option in the uk at the time. But I have solved it...

Regarding the buttons on the back, I think it's love or hate it myself. I was sceptical at first, but it actually makes a lot of sense. When on the phone, adjusting the volume our ending the call is easier than the normal layout.

Already done, ordered one as soon as the old one broke. I did get the original one as a test to see if it worked. Was originally going to get the meenova, but thought ?1 was cheap enough to check if it worked well enough first.
