I fixed the battery drain problem I was having by simply keeping my Gear Fit 2 powered on always, even when charging. First I force stopped Gear Fit Plugin, Samsung Gear, & S Health. Then I restarted both my phone & gear fit 2. I haven't had any problems since I now always leave it on. I hope...
