Ooooo Evo's my first smart phone... I've only had it since June 4th... it just seems wrong that I want the Epic so much already!!! I think the form factor is amazing, and I like the physical keyboard- the one thing that makes me a bit jealous of my wife's Moment.

Is there a way to boost the cache sizes beyond the Android defaults for the browser and maps? I have lots of room and crappy data service. Thanks in advance!

I got it- I had turned off Java script in the browser a few days ago to see how it would affect browser speed and forgot about it! Doh!

Open the browser first. Then hit search... usually works for me, but definelty agree the landscape support is an issue!

Agreed! I'm with the original poster! Not supporting landscape mode is a HORRIBLE ommission! Having to type in portrait mode for certain screens is torture! Not to mention, it's just terribly confusing. I had my wife set down her Samsung Moment to try my EVO, and I had to keep saying, "Oh...

I'm coming from a small flip phone and I was just curious how others are planning to carry their Evos?

For me, the screen size is the closer... that, and I'm hoping daylight visibility! (Not that we get much sunshine in Michigan, but it's good to be prepared.)
