I don't even really need to do that; simply trying again often works. It's just annoying to ask something, have it convert speech to text, then fail, then have to do it again -- often.

Absolutely. Notifications come through fine, and about 50% of the voice queries work. Just randomly about half won't work. Sometimes a few in a row will work, sometimes not. I can't seem to find a pattern.

No idea where to get it. Some phones have it, and some don't. Multiple Verizon and Samsung reps have told me that we all "should have it" by now, but many of us don't. Verizon is sending me a new phone tomorrow in the hopes that it's in there. We'll see.

Any idea if the baseband changed between then (1515.09 --> 1515.10) or if it was some other unknown issue that was resolved?

The voice input on the keyboard of my phone is REALLY slow to generate any results. It's simply "listening" while I speak, with no results being shown. When I click "done", it takes 30-45 seconds of "waiting for results" before the text appears. When it shows up, the text is accurate. I'm on...

Mine has been quite accurate but really slow (even on wifi). I get "waiting for results" for 20-30 seconds after I say something...

I'm a paid Pandora user -- trust me, it doesn't help. Mine is 30-60 seconds between songs when I'm on 3G, even with full bars. Slacker is almost always less than 5 seconds. Cleared cache, reinstalled app, etc. Nothing helps. I won't be renewing that membership...

An update from me -- in Atlanta, day one purchase of 3G Xoom, pressed the "check update" now 500 times, still nothing. :)
