I may be late to this convo but I'd recommend rooting and using an ICS rom I use 2 specific ones I can help you try out if not then yes there are ways to get you back to stock gingerbread but it will require some reading and patients. If you are interested let me know I can help you out

Or you can check sd card by running disc check on it from the pc and after that's done format it from phone options and then do a factory reset set everything up again see if you reproduce same problem again...

Honestly I'm new to this I mainly read alot of the forums plus I never seen a tablet or honeycomb in person. If I get the chance to win I'd b more than grateful. Thnx
