I got the update, but I have no idea what it actually updated. The folks over at XDA Forum are speculating that it was an update to the modem. Maybe improved download speeds or wifi? I wish there was a place that AT&T listed what was in the update specifically.

Hey guys (and gals)- I ran the update to Froyo this morning and after downloading and sitting at the screen with the Ardroid guy and the bag, it has now been stuck on the motorola logo for about 45 minutes. Any help on what I should do is much appreciated. EDIT: SORRY JUST SAW OTHER THREAD.

I was able to get one on wirefly.com, but I could not find one in any Verizon store or on the Verizon website.

Hi all, I was wondering if anybody had a recommended program and/or settings for encoding a DVD to play on the Captivate and on a TV via the headphone jack video out cable. I know that the video out is limited to non-HD quality (480i?) but I would like it to look as good as possible on the TV...

OK, So I just went for it and downloaded one using my setting as a Motorola Droid. They emailed me a link to the apk file and I installed it with the Sideload Wonder Machine and it is running fine. Sweet!

Checking the show only contacts with a phone number did wonders for me because most of the auto-added email crap will not have a phone. That essentially paired it down to My Contacts only. Hope that helps.;)

Hi All- There are some nice looking 3D games on the Gameloft website. Has anyone installed these on the Captivate? I know how to get around the no sideloading (I use the Sideload Wonder Machine) but It looks like when you buy them on their website that it is device specific and no AT&T...
