That rooting process only works for other variants of the A20. The SM-A205U is not on that list. You must be able to unlock the bootloader. Impossible on this version at this time. I wish it was. Lol

I have downloaded the firmware from Sammobile as well as Samfw both TMK. XAS and USC. My phone is network unlocked on metro pcs

I have tried. Odin says pass every time but nothing changes. I have flashed many phones and have never had any issues. Even though it says PASS and it shows it loading. I'm not sure it's taking hold. Also a side note. After flashing the phone restarts and then a few seconds later restarts again.

Here is what the recovery page shows now. Notice it lists system info twice at the top of the screen. Possible partition issue maybe?

I have a SM-A205U (A20) Samsung. This seems to be an update issue with the 10.1 update from t-mobile and metro pcs phones. It has never had any mods and you cannot unlock the bootloader the U.S. versions of this phone so rooting is not possible at this time.

Does anyone have an answer? His question wasn't about the free trial. It was about the error message and how to fix it. And no-one replied to that.

Can you root an S7 Edge? I havent found one yet.
